Monument of sin

So I've had this thing for a long time. It does nothing, but to serve as a reminder of money I've wasted on something pointless. Each day i wake up, i see it. I feel regret, and shame... but it serves as a reminder. Because when i see something awesome, that has no use to me, i remember the cold empty gold eyes of this jackal statue and don't waste my money. So I've got that going for me.
